Super Green Hummus

A perfect snack for the game!

It only takes 10 minutes to prep this protein packed green vegetarian snack! This hummus recipe is packed with greens and herbs, resulting in a high vitamin K and iron recipe for all to enjoy.

A pro tip for a texture: try taking off the skin of the chickpeas before blending – your hummus will be much smoother!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup chickpeas

  • 1/2 cup spinach/kale

  • 1/4 cup soft green herbs e.g. parsley, basil, coriander

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 tbsp tahini

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp Earthrise Californian Spirulina

  • 6 drops lemon essential oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until super creamy and smooth.

  2. Sprinkle with toppings to make it look extra fancy, or put in a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
